Overview

The Challenge Promo Engine was developed by MassMedia as a unique promotion mechanism that offers an unprecedented level of customer engagement via a daily challenge format. The mechanism was first deployed to promote the launch of the Audi Q5 in Australia, which was a phenomenalnational success.

After registering, customers are reminded and incentivised to log in each day to select from two challenges that earn them points over the promotional period. Participant's points are then calculated and the engine offers them entries into weekly and overall draw.

The tool allows the creation of challenge types (for example: multiple choice, interactive, photo uploads, games of skill) and categories (for example: general knowledge, creative, history,travel and so on).

Functionality includes:

  • Creation of ad hoc bonus challenges
  • Delivery of reminders via SMS and email
  • Rewards mechanism offering additional small prizes for reaching preset point milestones
  • Live leader board
  • Send-to-a-friend functionality
  • Full tracking, Traction integration and real-time reporting
